If there’s one thing for sure, there’s a good chance you’ll pay less tax with Brendan on your side. When he’s not hooning up a storm at work, he’s out cruising in his car. It’s safe to say I’m In Love With My Car is based off the life and love of Brendan Bassa.

Currently studying a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting and Law (Honours) at QUT, Annabelle is juggling full-time uni and her work at Level Up. Determined, hardworking - Annabelle is one to watch. Since becoming an intern, she’s become an integral part of our 7 Foot team, working with a team that inspires self-improvement and encourages innovation - her words! When she’s not smashing friends and family at the weekly game night, she’s learning the ropes of accounting and sharpening her skills every day.

Brisbane has become Keely’s second home, after she made the voyage from her homeland, Ireland. Swapping the rolling hills for 32-degree heat in Autumn, Keely’s love for numbers followed her across the pond. Currently studying a dual degree in Business and Law, her calculated love for numbers is unquantifiable, and can only be truly represented in her love for the ATO. A rising star, earning dux in both economics and biology, Keely unwinds with the odd football match or two, or three!

Originally from Toowoomba, Gilbert is a family man who brings plenty of determination and honesty to the table. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern Queensland and a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Melbourne. At LevelUp, Gilbert utilises his extensive experience in management, property and people to steer the organisation towards a sustainable future.

In addition to being a Board Member of LevelUp, Gilbert is the Director of Meadowcroft Project Marketing and a Consultant at AR Developments. His career in real estate and property has seen him work on a range of projects from end to end and he loves nothing more than helping buyers find their new homes. Aside from his work, Gilbert enjoys spending as much time as he can with his two girls, Lara and Macy.

Born and raised in Shanghai, Barry first came to Australia to complete his Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Tasmania. A keen learner, Barry also has a Bachelor of Business under his belt and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

In his role at Level Up, Barry enjoys helping clients understand their tax position and solving complex financial problems. When he’s not flexing his tax knowledge, you can find him unwinding with his wife, playing traditional Chinese games, or getting creative. Did we mention some song lyrics he wrote hit the final round of a TV show? Talk about talented!

Heralding all the way from Seoul in South Korea, Troy has called Brisbane home since he first came here to study his second degree, a Bachelor of Commerce at James Cook University. On top of his two degrees, Troy is a Certified Practicing Accountant - and wears it like a badge of honour. At Level Up, he most enjoys helping clients work out how they can save more money with tax. In his downtime, you can typically find Troy playing a few sets on the tennis court or headbanging to his favourite heavy metal band.

A country girl at heart and a ‘beach bum’ by choice, Kama originates from central Queensland. Over the years, Kama has built up an impressive history working in the construction industry as an accounts manager/bookkeeper and brings a new perspective to the Level Up team. Always eager to learn, she’s starting a Bachelor at the University of Sunshine Coast this year and will be the first in her family to complete tertiary education. In her spare time, she likes to put the pedal to the metal by getting out on the open road, drag racing or motoring around out bush on a dirtbike.
